The Amur river in the Amur region has risen to 2.9 metres above normal and came to understand settlements, informs the regional Glaucus Ministry of emergency situations

«The water level in the Amur river remains above normal 0.6-2.9 meters, there is a water outlet on the low floodplain at the settlements Ignashino to 0.7 meters and Dzhalinda to 0.5 meters without the threat of flooding,» — said in the message.

On the river see the water level at the site of the village Mazanovo village Surazhevka is below normal up to 0.2 meters, at the site of the village Malaya Sazanka – Blagoveshchensk – within and above the norm by 0.2-0.9 m.

Rescuers also control the flood on the Upper Amur river due to the displacement of floodwaters from the rivers of Zabaykalsky Krai.

According to the Amur centre of CD and PB, on 13 July in most parts of the region will be rain in the North-West region of possible heavy rains, rainfall is 20-35 inches of rain.

Earlier, rescuers Amur region warned of heavy rains with thunderstorms and gusty winds, sometimes up to a storm. Heavy rains can cause high water levels on the rivers of the region. Rescuers are on high alert.
