Ludmila Sentsova, the mother of Ukrainian Oleg Sentsov wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin asking him to pardon her son. This was reported on the website of the «hromadske TV» («Public TV»).

She says she believes in the innocence of his son. According to her, «he didn’t kill anyone».

«He had already served four years in prison. His waiting children, the youngest son suffers from autism. They feel bad without it. They will never be happy without a father», — quotes the website of Ludmila Sentsova.

She asked the Russian leader to show mercy, «not to ruin his life and the lives of his loved ones.»

«We are waiting for him at home,» concluded whales.

According to «Gromadska TV», the mother of Oleg Sentsov wrote the petition on June 22 and June 26, he was allegedly transferred to the Russian leadership. However, the reaction from the Russian side is not followed.

Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years on charges of organizing terrorist acts in the Crimea. This sentence of ten years imprisonment was also sentenced his accomplice Alexander Kolchenko. Two more defendants in the case, Alexey Chirny and Gennady Afanasiev, received seven years in prison. In mid-may Sentsov went on hunger strike.
