Most of Russians believe that the presidents of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Donald trump at a meeting in Helsinki on 16 July will be able to find a common language, but do not believe that the negotiations will be able to change something in the relations of the two countries, according to a survey of Fund «Public opinion» (FOM) at the disposal of RIA Novosti.

To the question «Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will be able to find a common language, agree on anything or not?» answered positively and 57% of Russians. The opposite opinion is shared by 22% of the respondents, 20% did not answer.

Sociologists also asked the respondents to answer the question «After this meeting the relations between Russia and America will improve, worsen or not change?». Almost half (49%) considers that no changes will follow, but the deterioration is also not say only 2% of respondents gave this response. To improve believe 28% of Russians, 21% were unable to answer.

Poll «Omnibus» was held on 7-8 July in 53 subjects of the Russian Federation among 1,5 thousand respondents.
