Program financing on construction of new schools in Russia can be increased in the future need to move away from two-shift education, said on Thursday Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

During the meeting with the acting head of the Omsk region Alexander by Surkovym the Prime Minister enquired about the socio-economic condition of the region and asked to elaborate on the construction of schools.

«We implemented a program that involves and affects the whole country, we not so long ago with colleagues from the Federation Council also discussed the possibility of increasing funding for this program, I mean the necessity of modernization in ten years all student places, i.e. the creation of a new school space,» — said the head of government.

The acting head of the region thanked the government for the support that has been given to the Omsk region last year and which was achieved by all indicators may decrees of the President of the Russian Federation.

«For the first time in the Omsk region, increase of salaries to workers of budgetary sphere began with the month of January of the current year, without delay. Targets made according to the «may» decrees, but there are certain difficulties,» said Burkov.

In particular, according to him, there is still the problem of high load time workers in education and health. Thanks to the support, said the acting head of the region, currently being renovated every school and every second kindergarten. «Today we worked 114 schools in two shifts, has more than 30 thousand children, approximately 14% of all students, this is a very high percentage,» said Burkov, asking the Prime Minister to provide support to co-Finance the construction of three additional schools.

According to him, this will reduce the number of students in the second shift at 1600.

«An important task for the modernization of schools, care of dogsonce, although we have three-shift schools in many regions, but in the long term, we need to move away from two-shift education», — said Medvedev.

In addition, the acting Governor of the Omsk region have told that for the first time the region has established development budget in the amount of 1 billion 400 million rubles.
