UAE and China on the visit of Chinese leader XI Jinping in a middle Eastern country expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in security, including joint efforts in combating terrorism, cybercrime, money-laundering, illegal traffic of people, said in a statement on the website of the Chinese foreign Ministry.

«The parties emphasized that oppose all forms of terrorism, which threatens peace and stability on the planet. China and the UAE are ready to strengthen cooperation in the security sphere», — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.

The parties agreed «to make joint efforts in combating terrorism, exchange of experience and information in this area, to encourage cooperation in training and capacity development».

«China and the UAE is ready to enhance exchanges and strengthen cooperation in anti-corruption activities in the fight against organized crime, cybercrime, money-laundering, illegal traffic of people, production and distribution of drugs, illegal migration», — the document says.

XI Jinping was on a state visit to UAE from 19 to 21 July, is the first 29 years of the Chinese leader’s visit to UAE, and for him personally — his first foreign visit after reelection for the post of Chairman of the PRC. After the UAE, he will visit Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa, and from 25 to 27 July will take part in the 10th anniversary summit of the leaders of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) in Johannesburg. On the way back, XI Jinping will make a stop in Mauritius for a friendly visit.
