Senator Alexei Pushkov commented on the reaction of the Pentagon on the decision of the President of the United States Donald trump to invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the United States.

On Saturday, Deputy Minister of defense John Rood supported the decision of trump, calling him «quite normal and practical.» At the same Ores stressed that Russia plays a significant role in international politics.

«The Pentagon supported the idea of a trump to invite Putin to visit Washington in the fall. There is, I believe, impressed with Syria and our latest weapons, and therefore do not want excessive exacerbations. Military know better than anyone the price of them,» — wrote Pushkov in Twitter.
