The Deputy Minister of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Rashid Zhakupov said Tuesday that in Alma-ATA, additional measures will be taken against theft after the murder, the bronze medalist of the 2014 Olympic games in Sochi, Kazakh figure skater Denis ten.
Ten killed on July 19 in Almaty. According to the Kazakhstani police he was stabbed during a scuffle with two people who were caught stealing-view mirror of his car. Several hours later, the 25-year-old skater died in hospital. The first suspect was arrested «without delay», the second on the following day. Earlier Friday, the Department of internal Affairs of Alma-ATA reported that the detainees gave a confession, one of them gave the police the knife, which investigators believe is the murder weapon.
«In Almaty I can say that we will take additional measures for the improvement of this city on the subject of the fight against thefts. This is clearly what we additional steps on the Alma-ATA will take… currently on secondment staff to work off, test and organization of work, to provide practical and methodological assistance to the Department of internal Affairs of Almaty for combating thefts,» said Zhakupov, adding that a scheduled service check.
