The President of Russia Vladimir Putin hopes that the talks with the leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzieev autumn in Tashkent will contribute to expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The corresponding statement the Russian leader made the congratulatory telegram to the President of Uzbekistan, published on the Kremlin website.

The Russian President noted that under the leadership of Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is confidently moving towards sustainable socio-economic development, playing an important constructive role in regional and international Affairs. Putin stressed that in many respects thanks to the personal efforts of the President of Uzbekistan managed to achieve new successes in the development of relations of strategic partnership and Alliance between the two countries.

«I’ll be happy to continue a friendly dialogue with You and our close collaboration. I hope that our forthcoming talks in Tashkent will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the friendly peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan», — the telegram says.
