The failure of the disengagement of forces in three pilot areas in the Donbass will be discussed at the meeting of the subgroup on safety in Minsk on Wednesday, told reporters in the representation of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic in the Joint center for control and coordination (JCCC) of the ceasefire.

In 2016, the contact group on settling the situation in Ukraine signed a framework decision on the dilution of forces and means of the parties to the conflict in the Donbass. Breeding forces near the settlements of gold and of Peter took place. Withdrawal of forces in the village of the Luhansk have been blocked. The representative of DND in the contact group Denis Pushilin later said that the Ukrainian security forces equipped with the position on the area of cultivation near the village of Petrovskoe, as evidenced by the reports of the OSCE mission.

«The main emphasis of the meeting will be: the overall situation with the observance of the existing cease-fire, the continued discussion of the proposed Special monitoring mission of the OSCE draft document with additional control measures of the armistice, the failure of the Ukrainian side, the implementation of the framework decision on all three pilot sites for the breeding of forces and means, as well as the alternative proposal of the republics within the framework of the renewal of commitments of the parties for the abstraction of heavy weapons,» — said the representative of DND at the JCCC.

He noted that during the meeting of the subgroup on safety on Wednesday, the party heard the data on the violations of the ceasefire regime and discussed the draft document with additional control measures compliance with the ceasefire.

«The coordinator of the Ambassador Apakan (the head of the OSCE mission Ertugrul Apakan — ed.) noted the low level of violations of the truce and urged the parties to focus on the conservation and further reducing the tensions and agree on additional measures to control the ceasefire regime,» — said the DNR office at JCCC.
