The President of Moldova Igor Dodon in the exclusive interview Spunik Moldova told what will happen in the relations with the EU after the elections to the Parliament of the country.

The head of state commented on the experts ‘ opinion that after the parliamentary elections, in case of victory of the party of socialists, the visa regime of Moldova with the European Union will be canceled.

«This is nothing more than attempts to misinform the part of Moldova’s population, and they are made in the framework of the election campaign, election campaign. Any restrictions and changes to the agreement on visa-free regime can be. We welcomed this agreement, when accepted it,» he stated.

Criticism of the Association Agreement of Moldova with the EU regards other positions, the President said.

«I have a definite opinion on the Association Agreement, mainly its economic part, other aspects, such as the visa-free regime, no questions asked, and can not be, everything is clear, you need to move forward», concluded Dodon.

Parliamentary elections in Moldova scheduled for the end of November 2018. The mandate of the current Parliament ends on 30 November.
