Farewell to the presidential adviser Veniamin Yakovlev, who died Tuesday, will take place on 27 July at the drama theatre of Ekaterinburg, after which a major jurist buried at Shirokorechenskiy cemetery, reported Wednesday in the office of the Plenipotentiary representative of RF President in the Urals Federal district.

The first Chairman of the Supreme arbitration court of the Russian Federation, doctor of legal Sciences, Professor, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Veniamin Yakovlev died on Tuesday at the age of 86 years. Yakovlev was born in the Kurgan region. He graduated from the Sverdlovsk law Institute (now-Ural state law University) in 1953. In the years 1960-1987, he was on academic and leadership at this University, where he held the positions of senior lecturer, associate Professor, Dean of faculty, head of Department, Vice-rector for academic work.

«The beginning of the funeral ceremony on 27 July at 12.00 (10.00 GMT) in the Sverdlovsk state academic drama theatre. The funeral will be held at 14.00 (12.00 GMT) on Shirokorechenskiy cemetery,» – said the Embassy.

Earlier Vladimir Bublik, acting rector of the Ural state law University, where the lawyer worked for almost 30 years, said RIA Novosti that the representatives of the University will attend the funeral and lay a wreath at the grave of his teacher. In September, according to a Bagel, lecture hall in Urguu, where Yakovlev was teaching civil law, called in his honor.
