The Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova considers it necessary to adopt in Russia, the law on volunteering and to include provisions for young volunteers and leaders of children’s groups about the Ombudsman said at the forum «Territory» on Wednesday.

«There is no such document, but it needs to develop. In General, probably need a law on volunteering,» — said Moskalkova, responding to a question about whether Russia’s law regulating the activities of minor volunteers and leaders of such groups.

Earlier in the forum the head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation on public projects Sergey Novikov announced that the number of volunteers in Russia increases by June this year every tenth calls himself a volunteer, and one in five declares participation in volunteer activities.
