«Mail of Russia» in August will start the optimization of the management structure in 82 regional branches, eliminating duplicative and redundant functions of the administrative apparatus, says the company.

It is noted that this will allow the company to improve the efficiency of business processes and free up funds for further enhancement of salaries of primary production: postmen and operators. «Mail of Russia» intends to bring the structure of the management staff of the branches to the standard for the best companies in the industry norms.

Optimization will only affect administrative staff in branches and will not affect employees of the main production – postmen, postal operators and others, underscores the «Mail of Russia». Staff changes will affect only those areas where there was the digitalization and automation of processes: document management, financial monitoring, personnel administration, accounting.

«Mail of Russia» emphasizes that the optimization will be conducted in full compliance with the requirements of the labour and social legislation taking into account the specifics of regions and in dialogue with the Union.

In the message it is noted that the optimization is carried out to perform tasks assigned by President of the Russian Federation the task of providing productivity for medium and large enterprises of basic industries rate below 5% per year. The company says that in 2017, the labor productivity in the «Mail of Russia» has grown on 8,8% — from 43.2 thousand to 47 thousand rubles. The growth of average wages in 2017 compared to 2016 amounted to 3.8% to 21.7 thousand rubles from 20.9 thousand rubles.

From 1 March to 5% have been increased the wages of all employees of the city post offices (mail carriers, Telecom operators, Department heads and their deputies), as well as line staff of post offices across the country. On the implementation of this program allocated about 1.8 billion in 2018.
