The General readiness of a 250-kilometer highway «Tavrida» in the Crimea, which will connect Kerch with Simferopol and Sevastopol, is 35%, reported the press service of Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation.

The Minister of transport of Russia Evgenie Dietrich has made Tuesday a working visit to Crimea and the Taman and got acquainted with the implementation of key infrastructure projects. Noted that the current summer season was especially difficult for educational institutions of Crimea, as after the opening of the bridge across the Kerch Strait traffic to the resorts of the Peninsula has increased significantly compared to 2017, reported the press service of Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation.

Now in the Crimea, built a four-lane highway «Tavrida», which will connect Kerch, where a bridge across the Strait of Kerch, Simferopol and Sevastopol. The first phase of construction of the highway (two lanes) is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018, the second (four-lane) by the end of 2020. The full cost of the construction of the «Tavrida» are defined at the level 149,3 billion.
