The state program on resettlement of compatriots to Russia, are in high demand in the CIS, Germany, Israel and Baltic States, told RIA Novosti in the press center of the interior Ministry.
«Basically interest in the state program show compatriots from among the citizens of the States participants of the CIS (Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan). Also the mechanism of state programs are compatriots from Germany, Israel, the Baltic States and other», — explained in the press center in response to the request to RIA Novosti.
According to the press center, in 2014 in the framework of the state program in Russia moved more than 106 thousand people in 2015 — about 183 thousand people, in 2016 the program has hosted more than 146 thousand people in 2017 — almost 119 thousand. At the end of 5 months of 2018 to Russia arrived more than 41 thousand compatriots. It is expected that by the end of 2018 from abroad to resettle not less than 100 thousand participants of the state program.
«This decline in numbers moved due to the reduction of statements about participation in the state program of compatriots who were forced to leave the territory of Ukraine and received in the emergency mass procedure a temporary asylum on the territory of the Russian Federation», — stressed in the press center.
In early June, during the direct line with Vladimir Putin a few families who have moved to the Rostov region from Donetsk and Lugansk, spoke about the problems in obtaining Russian citizenship. According to the President, it is necessary to simplify the procedure of obtaining Russian citizenship, primarily by compatriots.
After this, the Governor Vasily Golubev instructed to carefully investigate the situation and report on possible measures to support these families. On the website of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was established on-line service for the operational solution of questions of citizenship.
According to the relevant state program, compatriots, educated in the traditions of Russian culture and Russian language knowledge, the «most adaptable and speedy inclusion in the system of positive social relations of the community.» In early July, 2018, Deputy head of the migration of the MIA of the Russian Federation Valentina Kazakova told reporters that a bill on simplifying the procedure of obtaining Russian citizenship to compatriots living abroad, submitted to the government.
