«Mail of Russia» on the opening Day of the famous Kamchatka the Valley of geysers has released a conversion postmarked with a brown bear — the symbol of the Kronotsky reserve, according UFPS of Khabarovsk region branch of FSUE «Mail of Russia».

Geyser field in the Kronotsky nature reserve is one of the largest in the world, in a small area are concentrated more than 50 geysers of water and mud pots with colored clay, pulsating hot springs. Every year this place is visited by around five thousand tourists from around the world.

«To the 77th anniversary of the opening of the Valley of geysers Mail of Russia gives the Kronotsky reserve a personalized postage stamp. Now every tourist will be able to send the protected area gift card, repaid postage stamp with the symbol of the reserve», — stated in the message.

The first geyser valley was seen in April 1941, the geomorphology of the Kronotsky reserve, Tatyana Ustinova and the conductor Onisiforou Krupenin. It was called the Firstborn. The opening of the valley occurred on 24 July 1941, during the second scientific expedition.
