More than half of Russians (57%) do not believe in the veracity of the landing of American astronauts on the moon in 1969, believing that relevant documents were falsified, it follows from the results of a survey of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM).

«More than half of Russians (57%) say that no landing men on the moon was not, in 1969 the US government falsified documentary materials of the expedition to the moon. More often this opinion is shared by people with secondary education (65%)», — stated in the materials of the survey, which is available to RIA Novosti.

Every fourth Respondent (24%), by contrast, believes that American astronauts really landed on the moon, but one in five (19%) were undecided on this question.

A nationwide survey «polls-Sputnik» was held on may 29-30 2018, among two thousand respondents over 18 years. Survey method — telephone interviews, the statistical error does not exceed 2.2%.
