Writer Vladimir Voinovich had a special vision of history, and never stuck out themselves, and created his hero, said the Chairman of the Union of writers of Russia Nikolai Ivanov.

Voinovich passed away from a heart attack on 86-m to year of life, in the night of Saturday, said the journalist Victor Davydov and writer Viktor Shenderovich in Facebook.

«Voinovich is a page in the history of literature. He had his views and his attitude to history. For example, Chongqing, on the one hand, was not taken in the army, people in uniform did not perceive it, because the other image of a soldier was created. But he had such a vision. Voinovich did not rewrite history, and tried to look at it from a new angle», — Ivanov told RIA Novosti.

According to him, Voinovich owned a pen skillfully and never «stuck out» himself, and created your character, they liked someone or not.

«He came out of the Union of Soviet writers, was not a member of the Union of writers of Russia, but we always pay tribute to the talent. He had another way,» he added.

Voinovich, novelist, playwright and poet. Wrote such novels as «the Trilogy about the soldier Ivan Chonkin», «Moscow 2042» and «Portrait on the background of the world.» The winner of the award «Triumph» and the state prize of the Russian Federation for the book «Monumental propaganda».
