Medvedev praised the condition of roads in Sevastopol

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during a working meeting with Governor of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov noted that the roads in Sevastopol have been much better.

«I see positive changes: drove around the city, as the roads are really getting better, there are lots of social facilities. However, much remains to be done,» — said the head of the Cabinet.

Speaking about projects in the city projects, Ovsyannikov emphasized that in Sevastopol managed to pass, 18 new objects. According to him, the efforts of the authorities focused on the improvement of the city, the construction of roads, construction of objects of social infrastructure, rehabilitation of piers, creation of new parks.

The Governor was asked to contribute to the transformation of the Sevastopol state University scientific-educational center that could compete with other centres at the international level. Ovsyannikov said that the University is ready to pass all of the relevant bankruptcy procedure.

«If you are willing to participate in the competition and are ready to develop (the school), let’s your suggestions, I will request the Minister (of science and higher education of the Russian Federation Mikhail) Katukovo to have it together with you all that it worked, and, if possible, a good project, we’d all be happy,» — said Medvedev.
