Almost 10 thousands of migrants from Africa were rescued by the Spanish coast in July, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the rescue Service at sea.

1 through July 30, rescuers found 8 756 migrants, 1 004 were rescued in a joint operations Moroccan and Spanish services.

In summer, the number of migrants trying to cross by boat the Strait of Gibraltar and Alborán sea, has increased dramatically. In April, the rescue Service at sea found 1 097 people in the sea in may — 3318 people, June 6 397 is data excluding those migrants who were discovered at sea the Moroccan side.

Only one day, July 27, at sea found 57 boats, with a total of 1242 migrants. Sunday was found 247 migrants on 24 boats.

From the beginning, the rescue Service found in a sea of 22 091 migrants, Morocco — 3 825, 46 people died or went missing.

On Monday, the European Commission announced that it was considering a bid of Madrid for the provision of additional assistance in the resolution of the migration crisis.

According to the International organization for migration, if at all in 2017 to Spain by sea arrived a little more than 22,4 thousand migrant workers, from 1 January to 27 July this year — nearly 21 thousand people, only from the beginning of July — 5916.
