The proposal of the Deputy of the Saeima of Latvia to divide Russia to establish peace in Europe is outright extremism, OSCE and PACE have to respond, said RIA Novosti the head of the Commission of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation on development of public diplomacy, cultural cooperation and preservation of traditional values Elena sutormina.

Earlier the Deputy of the Saeima of Latvia Alexander Kirshtejns has declared necessity «to split Russia into several parts». In his Twitter he wrote that such a measure «necessary for peace» in his country and Europe.

«This statement is a blatant extremism. It is with these things and these people start wars. I believe that the legal, democratic state, the Parliament, after such statements of his colleagues should consider excluding it. Although, of course, I doubt that in the diet goes. But it appropriately should respond to the OSCE, PACE. To condemn such actions,» sutormina said.

She added that it was «confident in the strong future of our country» and «such statements cannot be left unnoticed».

«Some of the elites is certain, unfriendly policy and need to signal», — said the member of the public chamber.
