The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the Federal law that will not penalize the Russian exporters, who fell under the sanctions of foreign States for failure to return foreign currency earnings in Russia, the corresponding document published on the official portal of legal information.

Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev explained that this will involve exporting companies that came under sanctions and whose accounts are frozen. Thus, according to him, be exempted from liability will not any person, but only those that are included in the list approved by FNS, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.

The law also recognizes the exporter to have fulfilled the obligation to return revenue in case he is insured in EXIAR (a subsidiary of VEB) in the amount not less than the amount of future revenue under export contracts.
