The king of Saudi Arabia on Monday issued a decree about the invitation to the annual Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy places of Islam in Mecca and Medina — 1.5 thousand members of families of killed Yemenis and Sudanese, who fought on the side of President Abdu rabbu Mansour Hadi in Yemen, told Saudi news Agency.

According to the Agency, they will become members of the special program «Guests of the custodian of the two Holy mosques to participate in the Hajj 1439 Hijri (Muslim calendar)».

As stated by the Minister for Islamic Affairs, Abdul Latif Abdul Aziz al Sheikh, «the release of this decree confirms the generosity of the custodian of two Holy mosques the king of Saudi Arabia against the Muslims, especially relatives of the victims, out of respect for their heroic sacrifices in defense of religion, the territory of Yemen, honor and pride of its people.»

Saudi Arabia in 2015, led the coalition that began military action in Yemen on the side of President Hadi against seized power in the country of the rebels of the Shiite movement «Ansar Allah» (Houthis). The coalition, which supported the Yemeni army on the side of Hadi, joined by a number of Arab countries, the largest contingents sent to Yemen, UAE and Sudan.

The pilgrims will spend the rites of Hajj this year from 19 to 24 August.
