The most difficult part of Crimea’s integration into Russia’s economic and infrastructural space is passed, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday at a meeting on socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol.

«Today we can say that the most difficult stage is passed, we became more relaxed regime planned work», — said the head of the Cabinet of the Russian Federation.

He noticed that on the Peninsula need to create «a completely different standard of living, the standards of leisure, new social environment, and transform the region into a dynamic region».

According to Medvedev, more than a third of the activities and facilities under the Federal target program for the development of the Peninsula completed, more than half are in operation. The latter will include the construction of roads, social facilities, energy complex and engineering infrastructure.

«However, now the Crimea is markedly different from what it was four years ago, it all know perfectly well», — stated the Prime Minister. He recalled that eliminated power shortages on the Peninsula, built a new bridge.

Speaking about the development of the Peninsula in the last four years, the Prime Minister recalled that before were unprecedented task of Crimea integration in the legal, infrastructural, economic space of the Russian Federation.

«We took dozens of innovative solutions and energy supply, water supply, gas supply, transport. In the past decades the region has been underfunded,» — said Medvedev.
