Rescuers pulled from Elbrus fell into a crevasse climber from Moscow, the athlete refused admission, told RIA Novosti the EMERCOM of Russia in Kabardino-Balkaria.

Earlier it was reported that on Friday evening on mount Elbrus at a height of 4200 meters, one of the members of the group of 12 people fell into a crevasse, rescuers got to him and began to pull down. The athlete initially complained of back pain.

«At 21.30 GMT on Friday rescuers pulled the climber to Azau valley, further from the hospital, he refused,» — said the Agency interlocutor.

The Ministry said that the rest of the band was not injured.
