Rescuers pulled from Elbrus climber from Austria, who died while climbing due to cardiac arrest, reports the GU Ministry of emergency situations Kabardino-Balkaria.

Earlier it was reported that at 05.20 GMT on Saturday on mount Elbrus in the area of Gara-Bashi at a height of 5000 meters while climbing one of the group members from Austria, there was a cardiac arrest. On the scene came four rescuers of the Elbrus highland search and rescue team of EMERCOM of Russia.

«Rescuers evacuated the body of the deceased climber from Austria to the village of Terskol and handed over to representatives of law enforcement bodies», — stated in the message.
