Minister of technical education and vocational training Yemen Abd ar-Razzaq al-Ashwal escaped from the rebels from the Houthi Shiite movement «Ansar Allah» after 2.5 years of house arrest in the Yemeni Sanaa, controlled by the rebel movement, told RIA Novosti the Minister approached the source.

«He managed to escape from the militants of «Ansar Allah», he arrived on Friday evening in Aden (temporary capital, the official government in the South — ed.)», — said the source.

In Yemen from August 2014, the confrontation between government forces and Shiite rebels-Houthis from the movement «Ansar Allah». In the most active phase it passed after the invasion in March 2015, the coalition, led by Saudi Arabia. Then called Storm determination operation against established control over much of the country, the Houthis are supported by Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE also joined by Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Pakistan and Sudan.
