In the Penza region industrial production growth over seven months was 3%

The growth of industrial production in the Penza region in January-July this year amounted to 3%, said Tuesday the regional government.

«For 7 months of current year the industrial complex of the Penza region demonstrated stable growth. The index of industrial production for this period was 103%, is in fifth place in the Volga Federal district… the average Monthly salary of workers in the manufacturing sector grew by 6.7% and amounted to 29,884 thousand rubles, which is higher than the average for the region’s economy by 6.3%», — stated in the message.

The government noted that an effective mechanism for salary increases was the Declaration on the socio-economic cooperation signed by the regional authorities from 36 industrial enterprises of the region, where average earnings increased by 7.2% and amounted to about 35 thousand rubles.

The Governor of the region Ivan Belozertsev noted that it is necessary not only stable work of the enterprises producing competitive products, but also the development of its own production – the creation of new lines, the opening of additional jobs.

«We are ready to increase the volume of regional industry support Fund, to help our businesses with the provision of concessional lending, participation in Federal programs. Thus the relevant departments should actively inform Industrialists on existing measures of state support of production», — quotes the Governor’s press service.

Belozertsev also noted the need to increase foreign supplies of the products of the Penza enterprises, and proposed to achieve this goal local producers to develop concrete proposals for foreign business partners, actively participate in international business missions organized by region.

Earlier Belozertsev said that by the end of 2017, the growth of industrial production in the Penza region amounted to 2.6%.
