More than 40 thousand pensioners of the Kamchatka territory will continue to receive regional benefits, it is expected that the bill on the preservation of existing regional retirement benefits will be adopted on 18 September, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka territory.

«The region has a number of support measures for citizens who have reached retirement age. We keep them all in the same age limits: 50 years for women and 55 years for men,» — quoted the press service of the President of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka territory Valery Raenko.

According to him, according to the document, for all pensioners of edge will keep privileges on payment of housing, utilities and contribution to a capital repair Fund, the right to free legal aid and for veterans of work — monthly payment, and free dental prosthetics.

«It’s a decision we made understanding that the reduction of regional support will negatively affect the quality of life of pensioners», — said Raenko.

«There are other benefits that exist today for citizens of retirement age on the Kamchatka Peninsula, but do not require legislative regulation, and act on the basis of normative acts of the Executive authorities.
