The death toll in two blasts in the West of Kabul has risen to 25, another 95 people were injured, reports Xinhua news Agency referring to the representative of police of the Afghan capital.

The first explosion occurred on Wednesday during a competition in the club of martial arts in the sixth police district in the West of Kabul. An explosive device detonated a suicide bomber. A second explosion occurred near the first. Local media reported that the second attack was directed against law enforcement officers, responded to the first incident.

As has informed Agency the representative of police of Kabul Hashmat Stanikzai, the first explosion killed six athletes, 10 more got wounds. We also learned that among the victims of the second explosion, two journalists of the Afghan TV channel Tolo News, four reporters were injured.

According to the Agency, many of the injured, including seven police officers are in critical condition.

Earlier it was reported that the terrorist group «Islamic state»* (IG*, banned in Russia) claimed responsibility for two explosions.
