Senator Andrey Kutepov proposes to establish at the Federal level, the right for volunteers free public transport and Museum visits.

As reported by RIA Novosti Kutepov, the proposal contained in his request to the Chairman of the organizing Committee on carrying out in Russia of year of the volunteer, the first Deputy head of presidential administration Sergey Kiriyenko.

«We are talking about granting the right of preferential museums and other subordinate city institutions of culture and recreation volunteers in the presentation of their volunteer of books, similar to those benefits that are installed for students upon presentation of their student card, as well as on the provision of free or discounted travel on transport managers regional volunteer organizations on the territory of the region», — said the Senator.

According to him, he explained that, in accordance with applicable law, such additional benefits to volunteers can be provided only to Federal, not local laws.

According to Kutepova, in the letter he asks Kiriyenko «to Express an opinion on the desirability of legislative initiatives such forms to support the volunteer activities of bodies of state power of subjects of Federation».
