Emissions of substances that exceed the maximum allowable concentration in the atmosphere at the North of the Crimea, for the first time in a week not fixed on Friday, said the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov.

Aksenov stressed that this contributed mainly to the decrease in air temperature and precipitation, which reduced the evaporation of kilocalories chemical plant «Crimean Titan».

«I want to congratulate everyone. With God’s help, a miracle happened. Today, all the control group that was measured, say: on Friday morning of emissions of substances that exceed the maximum allowable concentration in the atmosphere of the city of Armyansk no. The same in the village of Perekop. For the first time during the observation. 90% is the weather. Lowering the temperature dropped heavy rainfall currently neutralized the situation. Today the city of Armyansk returned to its natural background,» — said Aksenov at the meeting of the operational headquarters in Armyansk.

This Aksenov stressed that the work of the headquarters will not be curtailed. The situation, according to him, the need to track in the future.

«Observations are conducted in the same mode in which it was conducted,» — said Aksenov.

In Armyansk at the end of August because of the release of contaminants on roofs of houses and the leaves of the trees formed oily coating with yellow tinge. Cause of release, according to preliminary data, was the evaporation of the contents of kilocalories used by the plant «Crimean Titan» (the branch of LLC «Titanium investment»).

The fourth of September has recorded the maximum allowable concentration of sulfur dioxide in the air. Located next to a chemical plant «Crimean Titan» decided to stop for two weeks.

Kislotostabilen is an open reservoir, which in recent years has significantly shallowed, leading to the increase in the concentration of the remaining acid and evaporation of various chemicals into the atmosphere. The sump is diluted with water supplied via the North-Crimean channel, but after the reunification of the Peninsula with Russia, Ukraine has blocked the supply of the Dnieper water.
