The election Committee has proposed 86-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, which are unable to participate in the elections because of the absence of its surname in lists, to vote at home, by the next election the situation will be rectified, said the Chairman of the regional electoral Commission Alexei Podushkin.

During direct inclusion the member of the Central election Commission Nikolai Levichev said that the hotline of the CEC received a call from a resident of Krasnoyarsk Ludmila Zaretsky, whose 86 years old. She told me that her name is not found in the voter list and she was unable to vote. Levichev asked Podushkin, what has been done to resolve the situation.

«I personally called her and apologized personally to her, that she was not in the voter list… We spoke for probably 20 minutes, and in the final phase of our conversation I learned that her 86 years. People are so alive, so living the social life of the region and city involved. I’m glad I was able to remove this painful sense and feeling of what it was not (in the lists). And, of course, I promised her that at the next election, so I took it under personal control, that the situation was resolved,» — said the Podushkin.

He noted that the electoral Commission did everything to Zaretsky was able to vote in the current election. «She will not go to the polling station. We offered her to vote at home, but while not completely clear, it will use this right or not», — said the head of the regional election Committee, promising to keep the CEC abreast of the situation.
