Investigators opened a criminal case against Deputy Chairman of a precinct electoral commissions in Ulan-Ude who is suspected of forgery of ballot papers, according to the website SUCK Russia in Buryatia.

According to investigators, on 9 September on the day of voting, the suspect intentionally to distort the results of elections of deputies of the national Hural of Buryatiya has made 50 ballots about the mark for one of the candidates, and made 45 of ballots marker for one of the political parties. Then he put the papers in the safe Deposit box for further inclusion in the Protocol of counting of votes.

«A criminal case against 57-year-old Deputy Chairman of the precinct election Commission of polling station No. 725, located on the territory of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Ulan-Ude. He is suspected of committing a crime… «falsification of selective documents», — stated in the message.

Added that investigators establish all the circumstances of the crime.
