The foreign Minister of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza said on Saturday about the US plans to support the conspiracy against the country’s authorities, citing American media.

Previously, the newspaper the New York Times, citing American and Venezuelan sources reported that the administration of us President Donald trump during the year, discussed with Venezuelan officers-rebel plans to overthrow President Nicolas Maduro.

«We denounce before the world the plans for intervention and support of the military conspiracy against Venezuela by the government of the United States. In the American media overlook the rude light of new evidence (such intervention),» arreaza wrote in his microblog on Twitter.

According to an unnamed former Venezuelan military officers, at least three different groups within the Venezuelan military were planning a coup against the government of Maduro. He said that the conspirators planned to carry out a coup at least three times: in the summer of 2017, in March and may of 2018. However, none of the plans were never implemented.
