Test against five state Duma deputies for violation of the law will take about a month — during which time MPs are entitled to present evidence of the legality of their activities, told RIA Novosti member of the Commission on control over reliability of data on incomes, property and obligations of property character represented by deputies of the state Duma, Anatoly Vyborny.

Earlier, the head of the Commission Natalya Poklonskaya reported that five deputies from fractions «Fair Russia» and the «United Russia» will check for possible violations of the law. The head of the Commission said that it intends to send an appropriate request on the audit Prosecutor General’s office, FSB and Federal financial monitoring service this week.

«The decision of the Commission was held on the subject of the audit. The Commission shall, in accordance with the law, inform the MP concerned and offer to provide a comprehensive documents or explanations to support or refute the facts that are stated in the respective applications. I think within this month, checks will be conducted, and the Commission with a full picture will take appropriate decisions,» said Vyborny.

According to him, is usually all these issues are resolved within one to two months. The election also explained that the Commission’s decision due to the procedure — information received had been noted and initiated the process of compliance testing information with the reality.

«Every MP, if some of the questions to him there, he has the right to submit satisfactory evidence proving the legality and validity of the decisions that they do not involve conflict of interest, that is not a violation of procedure of declaring of incomes and so on, so he didn’t violate the law. It is obvious that the number of cases can be simply on spurious grounds and on the basis of unconfirmed data,» he added.
