The denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is the common goal of Japan and China, the two leaders agreed on close cooperation in this direction, said in Vladivostok, the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe on the results of his meeting with President of China XI Jinping.

«North Korea – denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is the common goal of Japan and China, we agreed on close cooperation. The intention of our country to normalize relations on the basis of Japan-North Korean Pyongyang Declaration has not changed. The Prime Minister of Japan also reiterated his intention to visit China in October in connection with the 40-year anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of peace and friendship of China and Japan. The visit will begin on October 23.
