Lunar exploration should be conducted in international cooperation, says Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

«We need to go through the moon as a kind of testing ground for technologies long-term stay in a hostile environment. But, in my opinion, it is a subject of international cooperation. Such projects must be the property of the whole world,» he told reporters on Wednesday.

According to Borisov, many experts believe that until we learn the closest natural satellite, «it makes no sense to fly into deep space».

«Moon is a lot of unknown,» said Deputy Prime Minister.
