Bachelors in Russia was two times more than unmarried women, 16 and seven percent, respectively, it follows from the results of a survey of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM).

While married men than married women, and 54 to 47 percent. Almost two thirds of Russians (62 percent) stated that they are in «serious relationships»: 50 percent married, ten percent are living together, but the relationship is not legalized, and two percent admitted that they are Dating, but not living together.

Among those who is in a romantic relationship, almost a third (30 percent) met in the company of friends and acquaintances. One-fifth (20 per cent) met a couple at work, 13 percent — during the study, eleven percent — in the Park. Six percent of respondents place of meeting was the concert for the top five percent — social networks and for four percent of shopping, transport and other public places. According to sociologists, young people are increasingly met on the Internet (16 percent), but not more often than on the streets and in the parks, and less than in the company of friends or fellow students.

The survey was conducted August 21 through telephone interviews among 1,600 adult Russians. The maximum size of error with a 95% probability does not exceed two and a half percent.
