Tver authorities expect to raise the technological level of the energy system of the region, said the Governor of the region Igor Rudenya.

«Just a few days in our region will begin large-scale exercises, clearing and expansion of glades. We expect to reach an absolutely new technological level of the power system of the Tver region and hope that the exercise will contribute to the achievement of the result», — said the head of the region, speaking on held in Tver on Thursday meeting of the government Commission on electricity supply security with the leadership of the headquarters of the Central Federal district and the power companies.

According to him, the issues of preparedness of energy facilities for the autumn-winter period, ensuring steady power supply of consumers and the modernization of power network complex are a priority for the regional government.

As reported by RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the government of the Tver region, by appointment of the Governor with the Ministry of energy, rosseti, IDGC of Tverenergo, training in which will take part more than five thousand professionals and about 800 pieces of equipment, will begin on September 22. For three months in the region will pave more than 6.5 thousand hectares of glades and rekonstruiruet about 530 kilometres of overhead lines. This will significantly reduce the number of accidents on the network, to minimize the risks of power outages throughout the region.

The head of the region reminded that the Tver region is the second region of Dagestan, where there are such exercises. In the future, the Volga is ready to support other subjects of the Russian Federation to host a similar event.
