. Nearly 1.5 million Russian schoolchildren visited historic parks «Russia — my story» in 16 cities of Russia, which is about 10% of students across the country, the press service of the project «Russia — my story».

On average, 60 thousand Russian classes became participants of educational projects on the history of the Fatherland, organized on the basis of compulsory and optional education during the two years of this program.

«The new school year each of the parks begins with the extension of the excursion programs, and this year the total list will be added two dozen thematic tours for schoolchildren, who as part of a comprehensive program to learn, for example, about what great battle decided the fate of the Russian state in the era of the Rurik or how did the lessons in the pre-revolutionary schools. A wide range of topics and presented in accordance with the specific history of the region», — said the head of the project «Russia — my story» Ivan Esin.

Each of the 16 parks conducts extensive work with students. In particular, the Perm branch pilot tested a training course for the exam, breaking the record level of 127 thousand students. The Museum presented the publication «Historic Park — the visualization of history», is addressed to history teachers to prepare lessons on the basis of multimedia exhibitions.

In the framework of regional projects, all accompanying teachers have free access to historic parks to improve the skills and acquaintance with the materials of the exhibitions «the Romanovs», «Rurik», «The great upheaval to a great Victory», «Russia — my story. 1945-2016», which includes the actual scientific details the leading historical institutions of Russia.
