Premiers of Russia and Belarus Sergei Rumas and Dmitry Medvedev, discussed by phone the agenda of the meeting, which is scheduled for next week, said on Friday the press service of the Belarusian government.

«At the initiative of the Belarusian side had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas with the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. They discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation. Focused on the agenda of the upcoming meeting, which is scheduled for next week,» said RIA Novosti the representative of the press service.

According to him, the sides expressed readiness for constructive dialogue.

According to the press service, Rumas also congratulated Medvedev on his birthday and wished his Russian counterpart robust health, happiness and new creative successes.

As expected, 21 September in Russia there will pass a meeting of heads of state and government of the Russian Federation and Belarus, it will also be attended by Vice-premiers.

Earlier, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported that the presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin tentatively agreed to meet on September 21. The talks will be attended by the Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers responsible for oil and gas complex and agriculture, the Ministers of Finance.

Rumas reported earlier that in preparation for the Belarusian-Russian summit talks on September 21 are the contacts of the heads of the two governments and their deputies, after September 15, expected concrete agreements on the settlement of disputes in the agricultural sector and the oil and gas sector.
