The Governor of Khabarovsk territory Vyacheslav Shport at a meeting of the Commission on regulation of extraction of salmon breeds of fishes is tasked to deal with complaints from residents of several districts of the province on the conditions of fishing during the fishing season on the Amur.

«The inhabitants a lot of misinformation. We must address these issues promptly, without delay. We have illegal business, illegal fishing, but we don’t have to be distrust ordinary citizens who use simple fishing do. Under the General noise that we need to protect spawn, protect all, block roads, nobody is not allowed, the result is outrage,» — said Shport.

As reported at the meeting the head of the Amur branch of Glavrybvod Maxim Kolomoets, from July 1, 2018, fishing regulations were changed, in particular, for recreational fishing on the Amur shortened length of 30 meters. This caused complaints from residents of several districts. In addition, residents of Okhotsk and the name of Poliny Osipenko complained that they are now forbidden to fish with nets.

«We came out with a proposal on the TINRO-center to these provisions were repealed, and the following year the local population has been able to provide themselves with fish,» said Kolomoets.

Shport at the meeting also said that he would take personal control of the program «Affordable fish», which is implemented in the province. Check has already begun.

Under this program, fish is purchased directly from the fishing companies and shipped to the stores, eliminating the chain of middlemen. So it is almost half the price that hits the shops in the usual way. So, the price per kilo of pink salmon under the project is about 150 rubles.
