The Massachusetts state police has reported about 70 cases of gas leaks

The Massachusetts state police announced that is investigating for about 70 cases a gas leak just North of Boston.

We are talking about the explosions, the fires and the investigation of strong odor of gas, said the police.

Local TV channels reported about four victims and a significant number of homes which suffered great damage due to gas explosions.

It is assumed that the reason was network problems gas company Columbia Gas. Earlier Thursday, the company announced that work on their network.

All the inhabitants of the cities of Lawrence, Andover and North Andover, which receive gas from Columbia Gas company, proposed to leave their homes do not use electrical appliances and cell phones so as not to cause a fire. The local electric company disconnected its network as a precaution.
