Venezuela asked the United Nations in connection with the statement of the head of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, did not rule out the possibility of military intervention in the situation in the South American country, said Saturday Vice-President, Delcy Rodriguez.

«Venezuela’s claim to Almagro in the UN and other international bodies, as it in the vulgar and grotesque form uses the General Secretariat of the OAS to promote military intervention in the Affairs of our country and the attack on the world in Latin America and the Caribbean,» wrote Rodriguez in his microblog on Twitter.

Earlier, the head of the OAS said that to resolve the situation in Venezuela, we cannot exclude any option, including military intervention.

According to the Vice-President Rodriguez, Almagro hopes to «revive the worst excuses for a military imperialist invasion of our region.»
