Baluch in jail violate the detention regime

Complaints about the rude attitude of Ukrainian activist Volodymyr Baluku in the institution of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia was not confirmed, however, he violated the conditions of detention, told reporters the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova.

Previously, the Ombudsman of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova announced that it has agreed with Moskalkova on mutual visits of prisoners of Vladimir Baloga and Kirill Vyshinsky.

Meeting of Kherson city court, which considered the question of extending or changing the measure of restraint for Wyszynski, lasted two days. It started in the afternoon of September 5, but was aborted due to poor health of the journalist. His lawyer Andrew Domanski explained that the petition was filed in connection with sharp deterioration of state of health Wyszynski, who previously suffered a heart attack, and incomprehensible «treatment» in jail.

Vyshinsky more than 100 days is under arrest on charges of Kiev in support of the breakaway republics of Donbass and treason. It has not allowed Russian consular officials, citing the fact that Wyszynski Ukrainian citizenship. The Russian foreign Ministry described the actions of Kiev against the RIA Novosti Ukraine as a tyranny. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called them unacceptable. The Embassy of Russia has sent the Ukrainian foreign Ministry two notes with a demand to stop violence against the media. Kherson city court on 6 September Vyshinsky extended the measure of restraint in form of arrest for another 60 days.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Wyszynski was arrested «for his direct professional activities, for exercising his journalistic functions,» and stressed that the arrest of the journalist — «absolutely unprecedented and totally unacceptable policy of the current Ukrainian rulers, it should be appropriately reflected in the reaction of the journalistic community and international human rights organizations.» He also expressed the hope that it will be possible to secure the release of Wyszynski, including by means of pressure on Ukraine in international organizations.
