The state Duma Committee on budget and taxes recommended the lower house of Parliament adopted in first reading two bills aimed at implementing the principle of «one window» under the view organizations to state agencies annual financial statements.

The documents developed by the government of the Russian Federation in order to reduce the administrative burden on businesses, abolish the obligation of organizations to submit the required copy of the annual financial statements to Rosstat. Such statements, according to the document, will be submitted only on electronic.

The tax authorities will keep a Federal database for tax reporting and, if necessary, to share data with other agencies, for which information that will be stored in the database, removed the status of tax confidentiality, explained previously, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during the consideration of bills by the Cabinet. But control over the reporting will be strengthened, he stressed.

It is expected the introduction of the proposed rules in force from 1 January 2020. The copy of the annual accounting (financial) statements in electronic form will be submitted by small entities beginning with reports for the year 2020 and other economic entities beginning with reports for 2019. With regard to annual reporting of small business in 2019, it may be submitted in electronic or paper form.
