The world court of Ordzhonikidzevsky area of Ekaterinburg has appointed local resident Vyacheslav Makeeva a fine of 400 thousand rubles for the fictitious registration of the apartment more than 9 thousand foreigners, said on Thursday the city police Department.

«Today, 20 September, the court of the Ordzhonikidzevsky district under the chairmanship of the magistrate Irina Silantieva made Vyacheslav Makeeva guilty verdict, according to which the entrepreneur is found guilty of committing a crime under article 322.3 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation (fictitious registration of foreign citizen or the person without citizenship at the place of stay in a residential area in the Russian Federation). The convict was sentenced to a fine in the amount of 400 thousand rubles», — stated in the message.

According to investigators, 58-year-old Makeev from October 2015 to may 2017 for a fee, the amount of which varied from 1,5 to 5 thousand roubles, put in the bogus account for more than 9 thousand workers in the apartment in the house №20 in the street Bauman.

The illegal registration of foreign citizens was revealed by the police. Against the businessman was prosecuted, which in 2018 was completed and sent to court for consideration on the merits, explained in UMVD.
