The parliamentary Commission on investigation of the sensational murder of 16-year-old in the centre of Tbilisi, presented a report on its work to the legislature, said in a statement to Parliament.

During the fight the students in December 2017 as a result of multiple stab wounds has died, two 16-year-olds — Levan Datunashvili and David Saralidze. This murder has become one of the most high-profile criminal cases in recent years in Georgia. Six months later, the court sentenced a teenager to 10 years and 6 months imprisonment for the murder of Dadunashvili, and the second to 9 years and 9 months for attempted premeditated murder, Saralidze.

It remains unknown who killed Saralidze. The father of one of murdered teenagers Zaza Saralidze for a year seeking a fair investigation of the murder of his son. He argues that the government covers criminals. Saralidze began protests in may, the result of the resignation of the then chief Prosecutor Irakli Shotadze. The Georgian interior Ministry after mass protests have begun to re-investigate the case, was created a parliamentary Commission of inquiry. Still no one found who exactly killed teenagers.

Short report and recommendations to deputies was presented by the Chairman of the Commission of inquiry Sergi Kapanadze.

«According to the report of the Commission, it is necessary to prosecute one of the defendants in the incident of conflict M. K. because there is enough evidence to assume that he was involved in the murder of David Saralidze. According to Sergi Kapanadze, the Commission has identified ten individuals – employees of the Ministry of internal Affairs and main Prosecutor’s office, whose responsibility is allocated in this case. The Commission issued a recommendation on early against these persons of the investigation and also raises the issue of responsibility of former gladiatoria Irakli Shotadze», — reads the statement of the Parliament on its website.

Kapanadze during a speech in the legislature said the need to raise the issue of political responsibility of the Minister of internal Affairs and the Minister of justice. In a statement, Parliament said that MPs from the parliamentary majority has repeatedly asked members of the Commission of inquiry, whether they could identify the real killers of the teenager, but the specific responses received. Kapanadze to the questions answered that the Commission was able to identify the specific defendants against whom there was no evidence and which in his time covered in the case of multiple murder of David Saralidze, and, second, that the specific person who committed a number of violations to prevent identifying the real killers.
