Debris and structural elements of the pavilions in the night of Saturday, burned out on the University embankment on the island of Russian in Vladivostok, reports the GU Ministry of emergency situations of Russia for the Primorye territory.

«The night of the 22nd of September at 02.45 khbr (19.45 GMT on 21 September) in the fire and rescue service for the city of Vladivostok, it was reported that at the waterfront in Ajax there was a fire of debris from dismantling trade pavilions. Immediately on the scene were sent firefighters calculations. Arriving at the address of NBC in 02.53, the firefighters began to extinguish. Examination of the fire scene showed that the burning debris and structural elements dismantling trade pavilions», — stated in the message.

Because of the strong wind the fire spread quickly but firefighters managed to eliminate 03.36 open flame.

Pouring was completed in 06.29. The total area of the fire was 500 square meters. There were no injuries, say rescuers.

On the University embankment in the days of the Eastern economic forum took place the exhibition «Street of the Far East», it worked for local residents until September 16. The promenade is located at FEFU, however, is part of the territory of Vladivostok city administration.
